Solution
24 coins - 4 corners ----- 20 coins
20 coins divided by 4 sides ----- 5 coins per side
5 coins per side + 2 coins at the two corners ----- 7 coins
7 coins x $0.50 ----- $3.50
Answer: The value of the coins on one side will be $3.50
