Solution

7 units + 8 + 8 --> 86

7 units --> 86 - 8 - 8 = 70

7 units --> 70

1 unit --> 70 divided by 7 = 10

Paul's age now

4 units --> 4 x 10 = 40

Answer: 40 years old
